We thoroughly enjoyed Simone’s guided food and produce inspired tour of McLaren Vale. After meeting several producers at the Willunga market we headed to Shifty Lizard brewery. Despite having two toddlers that keep us constantly distracted and on our toes, Simone was very understanding and accommodating, even took them for a walk in a stroller so we could enjoy beer tasting at Shifty Lizard.
Highlight for me personally was a visit to the edible garden at Penny Hill to finish the day. Great day all around! 👍🏻😊

What a great day visiting McLaren Vale with Simone from AgriAdventures! We where lucky to have beautiful sunny day for our first visit to the Willanga Market where we bought some amazing local produce. It was a nice surprise to discover the local Shifty Lizard brewery where we had the opportunity to try their beers. Enjoyable lunch stop at Oxenberry combined with some wine testing. And last but not least, we had nice visit to the Edible Garden at Penny’s Hill Winery where Rachel brought us around their edible gardens, rare herbs and edible native gardens. I highly recommend this tour.

We had a wonderful time learning about the different produce McLaren has to offer. Simone was an absolute delight – very informative and welcoming. It was because of him that we now frequent the Willunga Markets every Saturday! Thank you for such an amazing experience.

Can recommend spending a day with Simone. A caring, energetic and informative tour guide. My partner and I had an enjoyable day on the Mclaren Vale tour.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the agri tour. From meeting some stall holders at the Willunga markets and eating amazing mushrooms for breakfast the following day to a beer tasting and back of house tutorial at Shifty Lizard and a very tasty lunch at Oxenberry Farm with some history and tour and all complemented at our final destination for the day at Paxton Wines, meeting Ben Paxton, sampling his fine wines and learning about sustainability. A great day. Thanks Simone for showing us some remarkable features of our own back yard.

  9. Rod and Glenys (verified owner)

A great day and exceeded my expectations. We saw a range of very different businesses, some of which we had seen before. BUT we got a personal interaction and a behind the scenes look at each business. Owners shared their stories with us and answered a myriad of questions. What a great way to discover more. Simone was an impeccable host.
